Seattle Storm in the Greenway

On August 24, fans of all ages joined Storm players for beach volleyball, seed planting for kids, lunch and great prizes, presented by Carter Subaru and Seattle Storm.

10-year old Matthew Braun won a basketball signed by all the StormBill Chapman and Sheryl Swoopes players.

Volunteers signed up for the Mountains to Sound Greenway tree-planting season kickoff, a huge volunteer event that will take place on Saturday, October 18.
 
The Seattle Storm basketball players, supporters and fans are pledging to "Go Green" as part of a year-round effort to green the team's operations and inspire its fans to make environmentally-friendly choices.

"3s For Trees" - whenever a Storm player scored a three-point shot during the 2008 season, the team pledged to plant a tree in the Mountains to Sound Greenway.
